Teen Road Trip to Phoenix for Paintball! Register at the Parks and Recreation office today to participate in this fun event being held on March 14th. The fee is $48 for teens 13-18 and this includes, transportation, equipment and lunch. Registration Deadline is March 6 so don’t delay. Twenty participants are required to make this trip possible.
Men’s Adult Spring Softball League will be accepting team registrations starting Feb 17. The fee will be $275 per team, season begins March 26 and will finish May 28. Games will be held on Thursday evenings at 7pm and 8:15pm. Sign up your team by March 18 to be able to participate. Perhaps you aren’t interested in playing but still want to be involved? We need ASA umpires and scorekeepers. These are paid positions, call Parks and Rec at 203-5011 for more details.
Become a certified Lifeguard. Lifeguard class will be offered Feb 28, March 1,7,8 (dates subject to change). For class fees and to register contact instructor Erin Estes at 202-8125. Applications are being accepted now in the Human Resources office or on the city website for interested lifeguards to work this summer and fall at the community pool. Interviews will begin mid March.
Sedona Community Pool will open with it’s limited Spring Schedule starting March 2! All of you interested lap swimmers, mark your calendars. Masters swim will be Monday evenings as well as Lap Swim Monday-Friday from 6pm – 8pm. Afternoon and Saturday hours may become available. Check the website for the official schedule to be posted before the end of February. The fee is still $3 for adults and $2 for seniors. Yes the pool is heated!
