****Scorpion Derby Postponed until further notice****
SRRHS will present its first annual Scorpion Derby fundraising brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 15 at Los Abrigados Resort to raise money for its technology programs.
The Scorpion Derby is a fun, audience-participation event where actual horse races are shown on a large screen to re-create the atmosphere of being at the racetrack. Play money is used for participants to wager for their horse to win, place, or show.
Admission tickets are $100 and include:
• a catered lunch buffet
• play bet money
• one free drink ticket
• the opportunity to win prizes, socialize and network with other SRRHS supporters!
The brunch buffet will be served from 11 a.m. to Noon. Races begin at Noon.
All proceeds benefit Red Rock High School Technology Programs. Money raised will go toward computers, smartboards, printers, digital cameras, television monitors and overhead projectors.
