WSS Middle School does NAU Ropes Course

West Sedona Middle School students recently participated in the Official Ropes Course at NAU. Click here to view photos of the trip. Students did a lot of team building and are prepared to do more. The trip was part of a grant written by Dr. Lisa Hirsch for closing the social and achievement gap for the middle school students and was sponsored by the Sedona Community Foundation.

Babysitter Boot Camp

Babysitter Boot Camp- Parks and Recreation has teamed with The American Red Cross to offer a variety of educational classes. Interested young adults aged 11-15 can become certified in babysitting and CPR December 22-23 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This hands-on class will teach skills such as responding to emergencies, hygiene, infant care, communication and more. Interested students may register by calling the instructor, Erin Estes at 202-8125. Registration deadline is December 15 and the class fee is $150.00.

NHS Inducts 37 New Members
