Spaghetti Dinner A Success

October 20, 2008

The Sedona Red Rock High School business club and journalism staff would like to thank the public for the large turn-out at the spaghetti dinner and silent auction on October 10, 2008.  We would also like to personally thank Kevin Wilson, Kurt and Kim Lugviel, and Tim and Sandy Haas for their help in the kitchen.  We are proud to say between the dinner and silent auction we made a total of $6,363.  The proceeds will be divided between the business and journalism clubs at SRRHS, and go toward funding trips, contest entries, and materials.  Once again we would like to thank those of you who donated desserts, money, and your time.  Thanks for making this year’s spaghetti dinner and silent auction a success!

SRRHS Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction

October 3, 2008

Every year, our Future Journalists and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) hosts this fundraiser in order to collect funds for help with contest costs and travel costs to conventions.

This year, the Spaghetti Dinner will start at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, October 10 at the SRRHS Cafeteria, hitting off the annual homecoming football game.  A tasty plate of spaghetti, with a delicious array of desserts following, will be served to satisfy those hungry appetites before the big game.  A silent auction, including contributions from various local businesses, will occur simultaneously.  Cost of admission is $5 per person.

We need donations for the silent auction, whether in the form of a gift certificate, a basket of selected products, other items, or a simple monetary contribution.

For more information or further details, please contact Marc Sterling (FBLA Club sponsor) at 204-6769 or sterling@sedona.k12.az.us, or Maureen Barton (Journalism Club sponsor) at 204-6762 or mbarton@sedona.k12.az.us.
